3.2 The dwelling will be partly sunk into the ground with just a single storey above ground. 3.4 Given the context of the site, careful consideration has been paid to relate the proposal to the surroundings and the conservation area in terms of site layout, height, design and facing materials.

3.5 External finishes will comprise on the front elevation of London Stock Brick with the new main door in a bronze metal panel, this would be slightly set back to have a shadow by the brick arc. On the rear elevation would be a sequence of full height clear glass panels with bronze frame interrupted by the bronze tinted glass skylights that run the rear elevation to the rooftop. The roof will be a green roof with bronze tinted glass skylight. The boundary walls, which only a small part would be visible to surrounding properties, would be matching London Stock Brick. The maximum height of the roof would be 2.8 m above existing ground level.
